Job Description

The key objectives of the position are to

  • Assist the existing Accounts team as required
  • Process transactions in Great Plains financial system and perform other duties as requested by the Accounts Manager

Key tasks and responsibilities

 
Purchase Ledger

  • Invoices are date stamped on receipt
  • Services are correctly receipted and matched with the invoice and PO
  • Incorrect invoices are rejected and referred back to supplier for correction
  • Enter purchase invoices accurately to GP
  • Records are maintained and filed in a tidy and organised manner
     
    Sales Ledger
  • Process sales invoices and send to client
  • Records are maintained and filed in a tidy and organised manner
     
    General Ledger
  • Enter transactions in Great Plains and prepare reconciliations/other documents as instructed by the Accounts Manager
     
    Employee Expenses
  • Check employee expenses for complete documentation and authorisation
  • Process expenses for payment
     
    Bank Statements
  • Enter transactions in Great Plains and prepare reconciliation as instructed by the Accounts Manager
