As a Sales Specialist, you will be accountable for promoting the sales of ABB analytical product in allocated market, focusing on volume, mix and profitability targets in Process Automation Business Area, in Beijing, Shanghai, China, driving sales volumes and margins.

Reporting to the General Manager-ANP, you will use your experience and drive to build enduring customer relationships through excellent service.

Your responsibilities

• Working with marketing and other departments to prepare sales plans and bids, ensuring technical and financial accuracy
• Working with the wider sales team to identify and develop new market opportunities
• Using your knowledge of customers’ needs and ABB’s solutions to determine effective solutions for customers
• Monitoring customer and market trends along with the marketing team to develop effective marketing activities
• Identifying and driving the development of new market opportunities in the designated market
• Performing regular status reviews and propose recovery plan in case of potential order shortfalls
• Following up on project, ensuring appropriate technical and commercial aspects of offers, and close orders
• Managing and developing distributors and channels

Your background

• 5+ years of experience in selling analytical products
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office software.
• A proven ability to develop and manage customer relationships
• A collaborative, solution-focused approach, with strong written and spoken communication skills
• A bachelor’s degree, major in instrumentation or automation
• Good verbal and written communication and presentation skills
• Fluency in English, both written and spoken
