In this newly created role you will report to the Finance and Administration, Senior Manager and provide support with critical financial, statutory, tax, Order to Cash (OTC), Contract to Pay (CTP) and SOX process controls. You will:
Support the month end / quarter end / year end processes including year end audit with assistance from Accounting and FP&A team members
Prepare monthly GST return
Provide analysis and prepare FBT return with assistance of external advisors
Prepare income tax return with assistance of external advisors
Prepare and manage month end rebate provision calculations to ensure there are appropriate provisions in the financial accounts
Complete analysis and check monthly distribution fee invoices received from wholesalers to enable allocation to appropriate Amgen products
Provide support in relation to preparing and gathering information in relation to quarterly SOX process controls and annual Internal Control processes
Update finance procedures and process flows
Manage reconciliation of Order to Cash AR ledger between external provider and internal records and resolves any issues

3-5 years related accounting experience
Experience managing month end tasks
Fringe Benefits Tax and Income tax experience
Experience with statutory accounts preparation
Experience and/or familiarity with web hosted reporting tools
Experience with SAP, SOX is preferred
