Eaton’s Power Systems division is currently seeking a Quality Manager to join our team. This position is based at our Queretaro facility. The Quality Manager is responsible for Ensure the implementation and maintenance of the Quality Management System according to ISO 9001 and Eaton Quality System and generate a Quality Culture across the organization. Insure it has the necessary resources in the Quality Department to comply with the proper support of the Quality Systems and support all the VSM lines and other functional departments. The responsibilities include the focus in processes to satisfy the Customers’ requirements, improvements in the products/processes and meet the key objectives from top Management. related department action plans. Some activities related with the position will be: Ensure the necessary processes are established, implemented and maintained for the QMS based on ISO-9001:2015 and EQS. Comply with all procedures established on ISO-9001 and EQS modules. Manage and improve key quality metrics: Customer ppms, CONC (scrap, rework, warranty, etc), supplier ppms, Complaints average days open, FPY, etc. Inform to top Management about the QMS performance and needs for improvement. Make sure to promote a Quality conscience on Customer satisfaction and their requirements at all levels of the organization. Ensure the Quality Policy and Quality Objectives are communicated to all employees. Ensure that all QMS documentation is managed, controlled and communicated adequately (Qpulse). Ensure that all internal and external audits are met. Insure all corrective and preventive actions are implemented. Make sure all measurement equipment has its respective calibration. Manage and provide the necessary resources of personnel for the Quality department and support the VSM operation. Make sure that direct reporting personnel receive the needed training to guarantee the Quality of the products and the Quality System; and also, to be able to Work in a safe Environment. Promote a Safety culture and participate in activities to improve the work conditions in the facility. Identify and support projects for improvement on quality metrics, looking of the continuous improvements. Make sure to receive the proper training to guarantee the quality on the product and quality system in the organization. Manage the resources to meet the operations required for Quality. Work with all areas in the organization to solve quality problems in order to improve the operation. Look for the continuous improvement of the operation and the Quality Indicators of the organization. #LI-AP01 Qualifications Required (Basic) Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in applicable functional discipline or possesses 7-10 years’ experience in Quality area. ISO 9001:2015 Quality System, Eaton Quality System and EBS, Core Tools (PPAP, pFMEA, Control Plan, SPC, MSA) Advanced communication in English Preferred Qualifications: Problem Solving Tools (including 8Ds) SAP (Quality Module intermediate level) Lean and 6 Sigma knowledge, Qpulse (all modules), Drawing interpretation (GD&Ts, Special Characteristics) Internal Auditor ISO 9001, Product knowledge and International Standards (IEEE/ANSI/IEC/ASTM) Excellent communication skills We make what matters work.
