Eaton’s Corporate Division is seeking an HR Administrative Assistant. This role is located in Beachwood, OH. Position Overview: The Senior HR Administrative Assistant is a part of the Corporate Human Resources team, providing administrative and logistical support to multiple HR leaders, as well as project and team support to the HR function. This role supports the VP of Chief Employment Counsel, VP of Mergers & Acquisitions, and VP of Global Inclusion & Diversity, as well as their teams. In this role, you will engage with leaders and employees across Eaton’s global organization, as well as supporting projects and activities within the Corporate Human Resources Team and Eaton’s Beachwood Office. It’s where bold, bright professionals like you can reach your full potential—and where you can help us reach ours Essential Functions: Provide administrative expertise through managing electronic calendars, scheduling and coordinating meetings, as well as full travel planning logistics for domestic and international travel Provide excellent customer service to client base, remaining flexible to allow for changing work priorities and timelines Manage expense reporting and the invoice process Manage office supplies and other promotional materials, including ordering and maintaining inventory for department and teams Problem solve to support leaders in technology-based issues, and use new technology tools to create workforce efficiencies Utilize technology and software programs to collaborate with leaders and teams to create, update, and edit materials for meetings, programs, and other events Work within the Oracle R12 and invoicing system to set up vendors new to Eaton to ensure timely payments are made on behalf of your team Ad hoc administrative support to other areas of the business as needed When we embrace the different ideas, perspectives and backgrounds that make each of us unique, we- as individuals and as a company – are stronger. Qualifications Basic Qualifications: Minimum of 2 years of professional work experience. Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution. Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship. No relocation benefit will be provided. All candidates must reside within a 50 mile radius of Beachwood, OH to be considered. Preferred Qualifications: Strong Microsoft Office skills, ability to learn systems quickly Demonstrated ability to deal effectively with senior management from both within and outside of the organization Self-starter with the ability to multitask and prioritize High sense of urgency and excellent professional presence Able to use discretion and maintain company confidentiality dealing with highly sensitive information As a contractor with the Federal government, Eaton is subject to the Executive Order mandating COVID-19 vaccination.
