Primary Function: This position is responsible for working with the Electrical Engineering Service & Systems group to provide on-site engineering and technical assistance in areas of electrical equipment maintenance, new equipment commissioning, custom electrical equipment modification, wiring, controls, drives, and breakers. Essential Functions: Gain experience assisting Field Service personnel in a wide variety of electrical work. Assist in creating detailed and quality reports to customers covering the scope of work performed. Exposure to utilize power distribution equipment, from high voltage to control. Perform all job functions with adherence to Eaton’s Values, as well as Safety and Environmental standards. Perform other duties, as required. Qualifications Basic Qualifications: Currently enrolled in an Electrical Engineering Degree program or Electrical Engineering Technology Diploma program or College Technical Degree. Possess and maintain a valid and unrestricted driver’s license. Legally authorized to work in Canada without company sponsorship. Preferred Qualifications: Working towards getting Electrician license Experience in electrical controls and/or power distribution products. Position Criteria: Strong analytic skills using Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint. Good organizational and time management skills required. Strong computer skills (Microsoft Office). Ability to read and understand blueprints and schematics would be an asset. Mechanical skills would be an asset. Good attitude and work ethic required.
