Job Description

Job Summary

  • Participates in marketing and business development of new opportunities.

  • Responsible for working on the development and the production of commercial real estate forecasts.

  • Must have econometric capabilities, and understanding of commercial real estate and regional markets, familiarity with forecasting, and the ability to work in database and programming environments.

  • Forecasts and analyzes major commercial property types across all major markets.

  • Researches local and regional economic issues, and provides consultation regarding the development of dynamic regional and local economies, as well as urban and rural regeneration. Proposes solutions to issues such as labor markets, education and skills, deprivation and social inclusion, inward investment and business development.

  • May draft and prepare reports based on project outcomes. Experienced professional with a specialized area of expertise.

  • Manages small or medium sized projects or has full technical control of project.

  • Has financial responsibility for the success of a project, and may play a key role in business development efforts, which may be sourced by a more senior staff member.

  • Supervises the work of others, providing feedback on performance evaluations, and mentors others.

  • Financial and project management goals are defined by the organization annually.
