F&B Sales Manager
Will report directly to the EAM of Fodod & Beverage. The person will need to be comfortable with busy high quality operations, managing multi tasks as well as have strong interpersonal skills. This individual will be responsible for the results of all pillars (Guest Satisfaction, Financial, Colleague, Health and Safety).
Hotel Overview:
Situated in Senayan Square at the South end of Jakarta's Central Business District, Fairmont Jakarta will feature 380 spacious guestrooms and 108 Fairmont branded suites. Additional features and amenities to the urban hotel include a number of lounges and several restaurants featuring a variety of culinary offerings. For corporate events and local galas, the hotel features 3,500 square meters of function space, including a1,200 square meter ballroom.

Summary of Responsibilities:
Responsibilities and essential job functions include but are not limited to the following:
- Act as a main resource for FB reservation agents needing assistance technically or with regards to achieving customer satisfaction
- Responds to all guest reservation request and executes prompt, courteous and accurate guest service at all times
- Fully knowledgeable about F&B Outlets, rates, promotions, programs, hotel facilities and services
- Answer guest inquiries pertaining to dining reservations
- Manage systems that are set up within reservations department to ensure accurate handling and monitoring of phone calls
- Track all reservations pick up from all On-Line channels like hotel website, OTA, GDS, other third party, etc
- If there are failed reservations to update the hotel software, then process those reservations manually
- Co-ordinate with the channel manager, or software vendors for any availability, rate or booking integration issues
- Update no-show and cancellation on the system without fail to avoid and unwanted commissions
- Verify all reservations taken on the system are updated
- Understand and enforce hotel and company credit policies and ensure proper billing instructions, routing instructions and payment methods are applied to the reservations
- Verify of reservation confirmation letters are send for all processed bookings within the stipulated time
- Process retentions, no show and cancellations as per the hotel policy and procedures
- Monitor all Tentative / Provisional / Waitlisted bookings entered on the system and follow up done for deposits / guarantee
- Record all files all reservation correspondence neatly and accurately on prescribed forms or folders
- Keep records of daily reservation pick up, cancellations, no show etc
- Handle the reservation correspondence before guest arrival
- All reservation modifications are updated on the property management system immediately and accurately in case of any change
- Maintain department approved quality assurance program to include, activity tables and reservations letter
- Update the reservation book in the F&B Office and make sure it matches with the computer system and gives priority to the best profit yield
- Traces tentative booking and confirmed booking from sales
- Response any inquiry from the guest
Qualifications:
- Indonesian Citizen Only
- Good interpersonal skills with ability to communicate with all levels of employees
- Service oriented with an eye for details
- Ability to work effectively
- Good presentation and influencing skills
- Multicultural awareness and able to work with people from diverse cultures
- Flexible and able to embrace and respond to change effectively
- Ability to work independently and has good initiative under dynamic environment
