Eaton’s Electrical Sector is currently seeking a Marketing Communication Specialist to join our team. This position is a remote role. Position Overview: A Marketing Communications Specialist is needed to interpret users’ digital body language and transform insights into results-driven optimizations that will delight our audiences. The Marketing Communications Specialist should be web-savvy and take pride in enhancing Eaton’s online presence. The team member will take ownership of email programs, SEO research to help define web content, and run point on virtual events. They will be supported by agency partners, our marketing tech stack and their marketing team members. We are seeking an energetic, curious marketer who is also interested in helping develop audience profiles and personas. This marketer should understand that humanizing B2B experiences and creating personalized content is not only a better user experience but will positively impact lead generation. The person will be given freedom to work with subject matter experts, do first-hand research, and suggest experimental campaigns and ideas. The right candidate should be able to balance team and agency collaboration with independent projects, while not being hindered by ambiguity or multitasking. The Specialist will report to the Marketing Communications Manager and collaborate with the extended Campaign/Demand team as well as Product Marketing, Channel Marketing, Product Managers and leadership to deploy and report out on programs and best practices. In this function you will: Guide content creation with SEO findings using our marketing tech stack and digital research. Oversee and optimize email programs to improve engagement and amplify business initiatives and newly generated content. Manage personalized content destinations for email programs, ad programs and more. Improve and grow lifecycle marketing program for customers. Manage webinars and virtual events by coordinating with stakeholders, overseeing deliverables and orchestrating follow-up. Research personas and understand target audiences to ensure Eaton delivers on customer expectations. Willing to collaborate, learn and suggest improvements for SEO, SEM and lead generation programs. Qualifications Required (Basic) Qualifications: B.S. or B.A. degree in marketing, journalism, English, communications, business or related fields 2-4 years marketing and/or communications experience Must be able to work in the United States without corporate sponsorship now and within the future Preferred qualifications: SEO and SEM experience. Experience marketing IT, technical or complex topics. Marketing technology experience preferred like Microsoft suite, marketing automation system (Eloqua, Hubspot, Marketo or similar), analytics platforms (Google, Catalyst, Omniture), content management systems, CRM (SalesForce, Siebel or similar), Adobe design suite, video tools, social media platforms and tools (Hootsuite), web languages (HTML, Java) Position Criteria: Innovative, creative, and collaborative. Self-starter with a digital mindset. Skillful at communicating and progressing projects with a variety of different stakeholders and subject matter experts. Proven track record in creative project execution, project management and working under deadlines. Organizational skills, written communications, creativity. Superior written communications skills, editing and messaging. Eaton provides a competitive total rewards package commensurate with applicable skills, knowledge, and experience and consistent with internal and external market practices.
