MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES OF SUPPLY CHAIN MANAGEMENT

• Design or implement supply chains that support business strategies adapted to changing market conditions, new business opportunities, or cost reduction strategies.
• Build efficient business processes aligned to strategy and focus on Continuous Improvement @ Lean and stripping out Waste
• Lead demand review with commercial and finance to deliver high quality of sales forecast in short-term and long-term horizon in a timely manner with new product launches details, to ensure proper production planning, business continuity and optimized inventory level.
• Review or update supply chain practices in accordance with new or changing environmental policies, standards, regulations.
• Follow up and coordinate with Regulatory team on the visa status (visa extended from the existing or renewal) then reflect its news in the demand forecast.
• Monitor forecasts and quotas to identify changes or to determine their effect on supply chain activities.
• Follow up and monitor order executions to ensure shipment arrive on time to meet the target LBE monthly.
• Manage and monitor inventory operations to ensure inventory is planned at optimal level to meet target turns as well as minimize obsolescence costs.
• Conduct and analyses to determine the impacts by visa expiry hence bridged stock build is necessary and ensure sufficient stockpile to cover sales until getting the new approval from the authority
• Research, negotiate, maintain, monitor, and regularly evaluate relationships and contracts with distributors and sub-distributors so that the organization has a reliable service that meet its standards of quality, timeliness, and cost.
• Lead Integrate Business Plan: Implement process to achieve one set of data within the company, develops solutions where gaps are identified. Identify resource requirements, cost, and time schedules. Conduct risk assessments and implement contingency plans to allow for unforeseen events and changes in strategy.
• Develop Supply Chain best practices and future technologies; standardization and improvement of planning system processes; and supplier management initiatives. Assess the impact of future systems technology solutions in the supply chain and roll out strategies.
• New Product Launch: Works with cross functional in R&D; Commercial; Finance to support New Product Introductions. Ensures launch milestones (R&D; Commercial; Supply Chain) are aligned to financial plans. Investigates gaps and elevates issues to senior staff to keep the organization on target to achieve goals. Aligns product introductions to product retirement plans and elevates risks.
• Environment, Health & Safety (EHS)
• Oversee Supply Chain function for Vietnam to ensure that it meets the policies, procedures and guidelines as laid out by the EHS policies of the company.
• Ensure that the Supply Chain operations complies with country requirements.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Design Supply Chain model will be implemented in Vietnam to strengthen Supply and Demand channel
• Develop, motivate and coach the Supply Chain team and provide guidance
• Set and monitor targets for each individual in the team to ensure high performance management
• Support employees in implementing of their growth plans. Develop and maintain succession plan and address future staffing issues in a proactive manner.
• Ensure team activities to comply with Company Business Code of Conduct and all local applicable laws within scope of function responsibility.

MINIMUM BACKGROUND/ EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

Work Experience:

• Minimum 10 years experience at similar management position.

• Meet the requirement for a commercially/supply chain astute, articulate, technically strong, dynamic, insightful and influential leader with the ability to operate at both strategic and operational levels.
• Ability to handle high levels of pressure and critical decision-making.

MINIMUM EDUCATION REQUIRED

• Bachelor’s degree Medical/ Pharmacy qualification.
• Preferably MBA with focus on Supply Chain, Business Management, Contract Management or Procurement
