Job Description
PRIMARY FUNCTION: Assist customers telephonically on a daily basis, support the sales reps, complete quotations and order processing. Complete necessary duties to provide excellent customer service. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: Continuous training to keep up to date with products in all business units that is Power Quality , Power Distribution ,Industrial Controls and Protection , Safety and Standard Medium Voltage Understand the route to market for each business unit and apply this when quoting and offering advice to customers Understand the process for order processing for each business unit and apply it Load orders within the requested time frame meticulously Liaise with the required departments to ensure orders are processed, procured and invoiced based on customer requirements Proactive engagement with procurement to provide information on customers’ orders Weekly updates to customers on their outstanding orders Liaising with sales reps to ensure customer satisfaction is achieved Ensure dates on orders are updated and accurate at all times Ability to work in a diverse environment and complete tasks timeously Ability to provide technical assistance to customers and Customer Service team Qualifications SPECIALIZED KNOWLEDGE Grade 12 as a Minimum requirement Technical knowledge on electrical components Knowledge on Incoterms and export processes is an advantage Basic to intermediate knowledge in Excel DIMENSIONS: Meticulous order capturing, ability to offer technical advice, cost saving initiatives, proactive drive to achieve results and customer satisfaction.
