Responsibilities may be quite diverse of a technical nature. U.S. experience and education requirements will vary significantly depending on the unique needs of the job. Job assignments are usually for the summer or for short periods during breaks from school.
Responsibilities include, although not limited to:
- Design, verification, and documentation for SoC (System on a Chip) development
- Perform Logic design for integration of cell libraries, functional units and subsystems into SoC full chip designs, Register Transfer Level coding, and simulation for SoCs
- Contribute to the development of multidimensional designs involving the layout of complex integrated circuits
- Perform all aspects of the SoC design flow from high-level design to synthesis, place and route, timing and power to create a design database that is ready for manufacturing
- Analyze equipment to establish operation infrastructure, conduct experimental tests, and evaluate results

Qualifications
You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates. Experience listed below would be obtained through a combination of your school work/classes/research and/or relevant previous job and/or internship experiences.
Minimum Qualifications
Candidate must be pursuing a Masters degree in Electrical Engineering or Computer Science
3+ months experience with:
- Reading layout of circuit design
- TCL, Perl and Unix scripting
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with:
- VLSI design
- Basic digital design
- Debugging
- P&R tools from SNPS
- Layout extraction reports and timing

$52,000.00-$147,000.00
