Job Description
PRIMARY FUNCTION: Lead the implementation Industrial Engineering, Lean Six Sigma, and i4.0 tools to support PROLaunch, ELSS/CIF & EQMS deployment. Supports Program Manager/Project Leader at specified periods during the development of the program/project, coordinates changes, and provides support to meet deliverables according to PROLaunch phases and customer expectations. Supports MCO process and owns product packaging ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS Leads Time Study, Process Capacity Analysis, and work-cell ergonomic risk analysis; identifies waste and opportunities to improve productivity. Leads Oracle responsibilities associated with PPLH, BOM, and Routes. Responsible for Packaging norms for all Finished Goods Owns updated CAD version of the plant Layout Actively participates and Leads ELSS Kaizen events Coordinates the implementation of cost-saving efforts to reduce waste in favor of financial results. Supports the deployment of i14.0 tools Participates in PROLaunch, ELSS, MESH & OpA assessments Assists Project Leader in the Capital Expense (CAPEX) management for the site Assists Project Leader in the flawless execution of MCO process, ensuring zero impacts on safety, quality, delivery, and financial results. Supports PRO Launch – participating in the installation, runoff, and startup of transfer and new equipment. Complete Runoffs and PPAP´s on time according to established schedule. Participates in Request for Quotes (RFQ) of New Products, Lines Transfers and/or changes in existing products #LI-MG1 Qualifications SPECIALIZED KNOWLEDGE: Bachelor’s degree in business, Engineering or equivalent experience required 1 to 3 years’ experience in an automotive manufacturing environment Project management & Lean Six Sigma Knowledge of EBS, ELSS, PROLaunch, MESH, MCO Computer literate (Microsoft Office Suite, CAD, Oracle) ENOVIA (intermediate) Knowledge of Core Tools Strong interpersonal communications, negotiation, and leadership skills. Bilingual (Spanish/English) Up to 10 percent travel.
