It's an exciting time to join the Project Analyst team of the Intel's Ethernet Products Group (EPG) which is part of Connectivity Group (CG) of Network and Edge Group (NEX). This role resides in the EPG Program Management Office (PMO) team and will support new and existing programs. You will play a pivotal role in the planning, tracking, analyzing, and reporting of projects that drive Intel's Ethernet technology. As part of EPG PMO team, the project analyst will interface daily with program and engineering managers to lead and assist in the development and adherence to project planning and scheduling and risk management methodologies.
In this role, your daily agenda will be anything but ordinary. On a regular basis it will include but not limited to:
- Coordinating with Program Manager and multiple geo stakeholders to create and maintain detailed project schedule(s).
- Performing critical path analysis and generating other metrics and dashboards required for reporting.
- Planning work to ensure the completion of intermediate milestones and overall project in timely manner.
- Leading regular program risk reviews to ensure risks are actively managed with mitigation plans in place.
- Participating in project status meetings, collecting progress data, and revising project plans as needed.
- Providing regular communication on project schedules to project team and EPG management.
Additional Soft skills need for this role:
- Good communication skills with the ability to present complex data and conclusions in an easily understandable way
- Ability to perform in a high pressure, detail oriented, environment with multiple weekly deadlines and time critical analysis
- Proven multi-level stakeholder management and influencing skills.
Qualifications
Candidates must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates. Requirements listed below would be obtained through a combination of Industry job relevant experience, internship experiences and or schoolwork/classes/research.
Minimum Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical or Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Math, Physics, or related field of study
Minimum Qualifications
- 3+ years of work experience in the semiconductor hardware and software design
- 3+ years of experience gathering and structuring data into complex software models, analyzing models, spotting trends, and recommending improvements
- 3+ years of experience using MS-Excel
- 1+ years of experience using MS-PowerBI
Preferred Qualifications
- Master's degree
- Expertise in the areas of critical path scheduling, automated indicators/dashboards, risk management, requirements management, product lifecycles
- Experience working with silicon and software design and validation teams
- Fluency in programming languages like SQL, Excel Macro and VBA
- MS-Project, Project analyst experience, Network and data center experience
- Intel experience
