Eaton’s Fuel Motion Control Group of our Aerospace Division is currently seeking a Supply Chain Manager to join our team. This position is based at our North Charleston, SC facility. Relocation within the United States is offered for this role. Position Overview: The Supply Chain Manager will lead key functions such as materials planning, scheduling, delivery of customer products, direct and indirect material purchasing, inventory control, shipping and receiving. This position is expected to provide guidance to hourly and salaried direct reports on the use of supply chain management techniques and various business systems to ensure customer needs are met. Essential Responsibilities: Manage current and future demand requirements based on manufacturing and supplier capabilities Implement strategies to achieve cost-effective logistics practices and inventory levels Utilize centralized purchasing system in conjunction with local procurement needs Analyze data to prepare consolidate managerial reports and make recommendations to achieve optimal supply chain execution Maintain proper inventory balances by ensuring accurate planning parameters and transaction discipline Partners with corporate supply chain function to drive best practices across Eaton Manages physical inventory and ensure document quality to meet corporate, governmental and customer requirements Provide direction and manage the performance of hourly and salary direct reports When we embrace the different ideas, perspectives and backgrounds that make each of us unique, we — as individuals and as a company — are stronger. Qualifications Basic Qualifications: Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited institution Minimum of five (5) years of experience in manufacturing operations, or supply chain Minimum of two (2) years of experience in a leadership role Must be authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship. This position requires use of information or access to hardware which is subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR).
