Job Responsibilities:
• Responsible for business development activities in Hainan with agencies and direct corporate clients
• Develop and maintain close relationships and frequent contact with different parties, including but not limited to local agencies/associations, channel partners, marketing and media agencies, and direct corporate clients
• Act as the key contact point for clients on managing Chinese digital marketing matters
• Proactively provide strategical advice and insights for business partners to improve Chinese audience-targeted business goals
• Identify opportunities and cross-sell within assigned clients’ marketing portfolio
• Identify new prospects, and reach out to new prospects to pitch for business opportunities.
• Prepare and present media strategies and pitching materials to clients
• Manage clients by having a deep understanding and ability to analyze ROI/CPA goals and data, media buying cycle, marketing philosophy, targeting mechanism, etc.
• Handle any ad-hoc projects as assigned
• Work location: Hainan


Job Requirements:
• Minimum of 3 - 5 years of business development & marketing experience (experience from agencies, publishers, or online marketing industry is a plus)
• Proven work experience in related industries
• Good understanding of key Chinese social platforms like Wechat, RED, Tiktok, etc.
• Sales-driven self-starter who is able to work independently within a highly dynamic environment
• Problem identifier and solver with good interpersonal and communication skills
• Excellent command of written and spoken English and Mandarin
• Regional business development experience is an advantage
• Willing to travel occasionally
