Job Title: English into Slovenian - Life Science Translator

Location: Slovenia - Ljubljana

Job type: The contract is full-time (8 hours/day, 5 days a week) and the position is fully remote.

About The Role:

We are searching for language specialist with solid experience in the medical translation industry and able to manage quality and language expectations for our major accounts as well as actively support both other team members and freelancers with any linguistic feedback/development. You will be responsible for delivering translations on time and within budget.

Responsibilities:

• Translation and review of specialist texts for the life science field (medical and pharmaceutical: clinical trials labelling, patient leaflets, medical reports, letters, medical devices and such) with CAT tools
• Post-editing of machine translated texts within given timeframes
• Providing linguistic support and feedback to other linguists
• Working with clients, reviewers and project managers to define best practices
• Quality and terminology management
• Linguistic checking of files in their final format

Requirements:

• Professional translator from English-Slovenian
• At least 2-5 years of relevant professional experience
• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent
• CAT & Office tools experience
• A team player and enjoy working in an international environment
• Strong organizational skills and attention to details
