Monitor and control capital expenditures according to project budget. Define project operational excellence objectives (safety, quality, delivery, cost and inventory) in collaboration with direct supervisor and local management. Collaborate with departments, donor factory, development and research departments and direct manager to develop project plans according to completion deadlines, performance and financial targets. Support the line manager in designing financial models to substantiate project implementation. Establish schedule, resource requirements and project management tools required for product transfers or new product implementation. Ensure that local regulatory requirements are met for transferred projects. Utilize best methodologies and tools for Safety, Quality, Lean, Supply Chain to ensure that anticipated benefits are realized and experiences are captured for future projects. Update project plan as required and communicate project progress to stakeholders. Identify and communicate any project issues to the line manager, develop alternative contingency plans. Present arguments and obtain approval for moving to the next stage of project implementation. Collaborate with operations team to identify, document, investigate and remediate the cause of product misconduct. Ensure safety standards are met and safe work practices are followed. Optimize the use of human resources by fostering an atmosphere of involvement, open communication and effective teamwork. Ensure that the quality requirements of its customers, and compliance with internal quality systems, internal & external auditors and other external agencies are met.
