Job Description

We are a part of IPG Architecture and CTO group and our team consists of experienced Product Security Experts and Security Researchers who are responsible for advising security best practices across the entire IPG portfolio and roadmap, from legacy to future releases, from the RTL all the way to user space.

We are looking for a Security researcher to join our team. As a IP security researcher, you will be responsible for

  • Secure design, development and operation of our IP Products.
  • Be able to perform regular security reviews both architecturally as well as code reviews required for signing and release.
  • Develop custom tools and capabilities to stress our SW/FW/HW in order to expose potential security risks, such as fuzzers or general PoCs.
  • Expect to act as a Product Security Expert and complete any required SDL activities for various IP components.


Qualifications

You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates.

Minimum Requirements:

Bachelor's Degree in in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field with a minimum of 6+ years of industry experience. OR a Master's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field with a minimum with 4+ years of industry experience:

Your experience should be in the following:

  • System security research, and exploring software + hardware techniques as a method of attack against targets within computing systems.
  • In-depth experience with vulnerability research.
  • Exploit development (published exploits and write-ups on exploiting new classes of issues, new techniques, tools are greatly appreciated).

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Reverse Engineering experience (or, for researchers focused on open-source software, demonstrated expertise on reading assembly and writing exploits for complex vulnerability classes) Experience to span security expertise over HW, SW and Firmware domains.
  • Experience to communicate technical info and ideas so others will understand.
  • Experience to coach and motivate less experienced team members to achieve their goals.
  • Experience in security research and community impact, demonstrated by published research and collaboration to community efforts (PoC development proficiency is more appreciated more than certifications).

Annual Salary Range for jobs which could be performed in US, Colorado:
$148,930.00-$238,410.00
