As a Senior Operations Manager, you will be responsible for: Leading the management team of a 24/6 Distribution Operation including picking, shipping, and inventory control/receiving departments to ensure goals and objectives are achieved. This includes continuously improving the Distribution Operation to be best in Industry; driving the business using performance data, financial data, and activity reports; organizing and overseeing the schedules and work of assigned staff over a multi-shift operation; and maintaining regular performance and accountability discussions with employees. This position may suit you best if you are familiar with what is below, and would like to do develop your career with Healthineers You have demonstrative drive and success in achieving challenging goals and implementing positive work strategies. You have knowledge of industry standard distribution operation performance and practices. You have knowledge and experience with labor management, engineered labor standards and managing to performance standards You have experience working and collaborating with other departments, such as Human Resources, Finance, LEAN and CI, and Quality to ensure successful operations You have experience planning departmental budgets and monitoring of budget adherence You have good PC skills (MS Office software like Word, PowerPoint, Excel and Outlook) You have very good presentation skills, and you show team orientation, communication skills and customer orientation Required skills to have for the success of this role BS/BA in related discipline, or advanced degree, or equivalent combination of education and experience required. Typically, 5-8 years of successful experience in Distribution Operation Management. Experience managing a skilled workforce in a competitive market.
