Bentley Systems has an exciting new opportunity for talented individuals who are enthusiastic about leveraging bleeding-edge technologies to develop iTwin Platform which combines multiple Bentley products into unified platform with mission to support developers as they create and bring to market innovative digital twin solutions. iTwin platform is an open, scalable cloud platform that provides APIs and services to help developers create digital twin applications for project teams and owner-operators to create, visualize, and analyze digital twins of infrastructure assets. Our new colleague will take part in all the development stages of this platform, leveraging the latest DevOps and agile methodologies and the latest cloud technologies. 

  

Responsibilities 

• Working with a team in an agile, Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery software development process 

• Understanding and defining software requirements 

• Designing and developing new features, products, or web solutions 

• Upgrading and maintaining existing software and web services 

• Working in dynamic DevOps oriented software development environment 

• Integrating various cloud services into our product 

  

Requirements 

• 3+ years’ experience in software development 

• BS in computer science, software engineering or related field 

• Good verbal and written communication skills in English language 

• Ability to learn and adapt quickly to maximize productivity 

• Self-motivated person with the ability to work individually and as part of a team 

  

Desirable Skills 

• Proficient in .NET / C#, C++, TypeScript, node.js, React 

• Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes 

• Strong knowledge in creating back-end web services (REST) 

• Experience in creating event driven distributed systems 

• Knowledge in databases (SQL, NoSQL, document databases) 

• Working with cloud systems (Microsoft Azure or other) 

• Knowledge of agile scrum development, test driven development, Continuous Delivery and DevOps processes
