Job Description

Guest Experience Supervisor
The Guest Experience Supervisor is responsible for managing VIP guest experience through pre-arrival, arrival and departure activities that include communicating any preferences to hotel departments through daily verbal and PMS system communication, arranging welcome amenities and flowers as needed, solving any guest concerns, issues, or wants, providing engaging, sincere, personalized service to all guests while present in lobby. This position offers the opportunity to showcase your interpersonal strengths, anticipating needs while ensuring exceptional guest service is provided.

Summary of Responsibilities:

Reporting to the Director, Front Office, responsibilities and essential job functions include but are not limited to the following:

  • Consistently offers professional, engaging and friendly service
  • Commitment to provide excellent service and exceed guests' expectations
  • Must be empathetic to guest and staff needs and respond with urgency
  • Adhering to "room warming" and arrival procedures as outlined in Guest Relations Manual
  • Advise Multiple Departments of requirements of all VIP guests
  • Ability to work well under pressure in a fast paced environment
  • Ability to work flexible schedule with changing shifts including AM, PM, Weekends and Holidays
  • Ability to work cohesively with fellow colleagues as part of a team
  • Ability to focus attention on guest needs, remaining calm and courteous at all times
  • Follow department policies, procedures and service standards
  • Follow all safety policies 
  • Other duties as assigned 

Qualifications:

  • A team player with proven success in relationship building
  • Must possess outstanding guest services skills
  • Previous customer related experience is required
  • Must possess professionalism with impeccable grooming and presentation
  • Previous PMS experience an asset
  • Computer literate in Microsoft Window applications an asset
  • Strong interpersonal and problem solving abilities with and sophisticated verbal communication skills
  • Excellent organizational skills with a high level of responsibility and commitment
  • Proven ability to initiate action and ideas 

Physical Aspects of Position (include but are not limited to):

  • Constant standing and walking throughout shift
