Job Description
Eaton’s CPD PCD Division is currently seeking for an EHS Manager - Haina Campus to join our team. This position is based at our Haina, Dominican Republic facility. Plan, organize, coordinate and lead processes, providing legal, strategic and technical expertise to ensure compliance with MESH standards and local legal regulation, to achieve a world class EHS culture in a multi-site organization. Responsibilities: Lead and support the MESH implementation to achieve maturity levels according to corporate requirements based on the Enhesa Score Card; ISO 1400, OpA as well as legal requirements. Identify, develop and maintain operational controls to ensure MESH system compliance. Advice, Manage, implement, and meet all aspects related with EHS local legislation compliance. Lead and support the implementation of site level and workstation risk assessments to provide guidance to the management team to identify projects that can positively impact the top 5 risks. Maintain required Environmental, Health, Safety and Security documentation and logs, updating MESH Prism to reflect accurate data. Lead and support the implementation of the Environmental, Health, Safety and Security trainings; based on the stablished MESH training plan. Seek, lead and provide support to the implementation of transferable practice that will enhance the EHS management System and Culture. Lead and support the implementation of security surveillance systems based LENEL. Responsible to develop, in an annual basis, business continuity process, based on the risk assessment tool (RIAT). Seek for socially responsible methods and processes to manage natural resources and waste. Develop continuous improvement projects oriented to reduce energy, waste and used water, focused on Eaton Sustainable Development Goals Responsible for performance/ compliance of critical EHS facility system, as: fire control, safety alarms, fire suppression, and wastewater treatment plants. Responsible to develop strategies according with EATON Global Security Standard, OEA, BASC and C-TPAT for facilities. Performs other related duties as requested by the management.} #LI-SL4 Qualifications EHS Manager Basic Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Industrial, Electronic, Mechanic or Chemical), Natural Sciences, Business Management or related sciences. Minimum experience of 10 years in similar positions (EHS) Fully Bilingual (English/Spanish). Digital Mindset (Windows 365 fully versed) Full domain in the application of OSHA. Specialized knowledge: Lead Auditor of ISO14001. Preferable: MESH auditor/assessor, Certified Safety Professional (CSP), EPA Regulations, Certified Industrial Hygienist, BASC or ISO 45001 as a plus.
