Job Description
Eaton's Life Safety Division has an opening for Maintenance Technician, Cwmbran, UK The successful candidate will be working within the production team and will be responsible for maintenance of a growing production facility. This operational role is highly process driven, fast paced, requiring the candidate to be a good communicator, problem solver with a technical background and a passionate learner. Requirements: Willingness to problem solve and be analytical Excellent organisation and 5S skills Self starting & motivated – impeccable time & attendance and a ‘can do’ attitude PC skills – must be proficient with utilising basic packages, to include e-mail High safety standards – demonstrable by examples – ie; knowledge of risk & method statements, safe systems of work etc Electrically qualified – with experience in an office/manufacturing environment Experience with Cobot/Robot would be an advantage Experience and knowledge of SAP would be an advantage Duties and responsibilities including but not limited to: Mechanical and electrical TPM schedule Responsible for external contractors First response cover for manufacturing support Completing all meter readings accurately Detects together with the test team to create opportunities for improvements in the production equipment, and monitors the development of these projects.
