Job Description

Leads a small matrixed, cross functional team contained within a larger organization that are directly tied to the development, implementation or upgrade of technology or products for external customers. The cross functional, matrixed team is made up of individual contributors and guides performance of functional teams. Manages Projects or Programs where decisions can potentially affect multiple or critical projects in the business through all phases of the lifecycle. Manages interdependencies and integration among multiple projects, teams, and stakeholders. Has decision making authority at the program level. Sets direction for programs by determining and considering the business impact of project decisions and operates within the guardrails. Is the key interface with stakeholders and leadership internally. Exercises judgment and discretion to develop solutions, remove obstacles and redefine approaches. Oversees identification of tasks and research, dependencies, costs; communicates expectations to core team members. Creates/tracks/adjusts the program schedule. Assesses risks and identifies solutions to timely, efficient achievement of program goals. Ensures that quality standards and budget constraints are met. Ensures appropriate progress against schedule and takes remedial action as appropriate. Prioritizes utilization of resources with other functions. May have a basic understanding of the technical concepts, architecture, systems, development methods, and/or disciplines associated with the defined program


Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications: Willingness to travel once or twice a year Fluent English is a pre-requisite. Role will require frequent interactions with an United States based team Preferred Qualifications: Strong self-initiative and persistence Ability to deal with a high degree of ambiguity and drive clarity in key areas Working knowledge of applying Program Life Cycle (PLC), or Project management concepts A good team player, embracing collaboration and flexibility Requirements listed would be obtained through a combination of industry relevant job experience, internship experiences and or schoolwork/classes/research.
