Restaurant Manager

The Mercure Townsville has a fantastic opportunity for an energetic "hands on" leader who is not afraid to think outside the box. As the Restaurant Manager  you will strategically lead the team to take guest satisfaction to the next level.

What you will be doing:

• Manage, run and control the operational floor of the Restaurant as business demand merits
• Set, implement and review service standards
• Recruitment and selection of team members
• Conduct training, performance evaluations and counselling of staff
• Develop and inspire our excellent team
• Effective roster and cost management
• Reviewing guest feedback, identifying areas of improvement and actioning accordingly.
• Ensuring OH&S, ALLSafe and sustainability commitments are upheld within the department

About  You:

• Proven experience in leading a successful team
• Excellent communication skills
• Ability to prioritise tasks and multitask with a strong hands-on approach and capability to work successfully in a close team environment
• An outgoing personality, positive attitude and loads of initiative and who can think outside the box
• Strong work ethic and exceptional customer service skills.
• Immaculate personal presentation standards and excellent attention to detail.
• Valid Responsible Service of Alcohol Certificate.
• Willing to be flexible is essential as shifts will include days, evenings and weekends.
