Associate Producer
Overview
Working under the mentorship/guidance of an experienced RMD Production Manager you will be given rein at their discretion to manage your own projects and accounts, with increasing levels of complexity, as you gain experience and work towards promotion to more senior levels and accounts.
The overarching function is to coordinate a range of multimedia projects (audio, video and subtitling) working with internal production departments and teams as well as external resources and suppliers. You will be responsible for ensuring the project is resourced, planned and completed on schedule and your duties will include evaluating, quoting, scheduling, resolving conflicts and queries, paying suppliers, ensuring QA and making deliveries. You will need to successfully manage teams to implement solutions for our clients that result in excellent customer satisfaction, repeat projects and efficient and profitable production.
Role/Responsibilities
Working closely with your manager and the production teams, scope, quote, set up and coordinate the full production process of media projects
- Receive and cascade information and assets, ensuring suppliers and team members have all the relevant information to perform the work to the required standards
- Liaise with internal client teams to identify and define requirements, scope and objectives
- Negotiate with external studios, freelancers and vendors on pricing per project requirement
- Prepare the project plan, budget and quote for the project
- Communicate and assign tasks to internal and external resources and manage the schedule according to the project plan
- Ensure projects meet clients’ expectations and comply with internal requirements with respect to quality, budget and delivery timelines
- Monitor project progress and resolve queries and issues in a timely manner
- Act as the central point of contact and communicate effectively the project status and upcoming milestones to all relevant participants
- Communicate and escalate any significant changes, issues and potential risks to Production Managers in a timely manner
- Track costs and schedule and proactively manage changes
- Create and maintain accurate project documentation
- Other tasks as assigned
Qualifications & Pre-Requisites
Have the right to live and work in Thailand
Ideally applicants will be educated to degree standard and/or have a demonstrated knowledge and understanding of multimedia (Audio/video) production or localisation project management..

Skills – Desirable
- Previous experience of working in a project based, client facing role, with multimedia projects covering both voiceover and subtitling would be an advantage
- Experience in Transcription/Subtitling environment is a plus
- Understanding of Media Accessibility requirements (Audio description and Subtitles for Deaf and hard of hearing)
- Knowledge of one or more foreign language(s)
- Expertise in industry-related CAT-tools software is a plus
