Income Auditor

As an Income Auditor you are responsible to review and verify all financial reports in order to ensure a proper authorization in compliance with the applicable policies and procedures.

What you will be doing:

• Compute, classify, and record numerical data to keep financial records complete. Perform any combination of routine calculating, posting, and verifying duties to obtain primary financial data for use in maintaining accounting records.
• Check the accuracy of figures, calculations, and postings pertaining to business transactions recorded
• Record, store, access, and analyze computerized financial information.
• Control and secure cash and cash equivalents for property according to cash handling policy and procedures.
• Organize, secure, and maintain all files and records in accordance with document retention and confidentiality policies and procedures.
• Prepare, maintain, and distribute statistical, financial, accounting, auditing, or payroll reports and tables.
• Review rage variance report in order to ensure the correct rate is applied
• Examine paid out vouchers, allowance vouchers, correction vouchers and approved by authorized person and discrepancies are justified in any.
• Review overages and shortages of Cashiers and take appropriate action and review Front Office foreign exchange rates as and when required etc..

Qualifications & Experiences

Minimum of one year previous experiences in accounting, excellent verbal and written English communication skills and computer literacy is a must, while knowledge of Opera, Micros, and SUN System an asset.
