Job Description

Successful candidate's responsibilities will be but not limited to:

Work hands-on to drive sophisticated equipment and on-die silicon features, to measure the electrical performance of high-speed parallel and serial interfaces. You will perform statistical data analysis to compare performance against both specification and expectations, across test cases defined by yourself, design, internal workgroups, industry standards and component specifications. You will write comprehensive test code that controls measurement equipment, thermal controls, silicon and other test components. You will work jointly with partners in design, signal integrity, BIOS, platform, high volume manufacturing and wafer fabrication teams to resolve complex issues, affecting product health ensuring world-class products for our customers. You will enable the customer by providing them tools and support to solve their most difficult issues. You will endeavor to work with external and internal teams, to help us continuously improve our methods and processes, to ensure high quality and timely products in the most efficient manner possible.

Qualifications

Candidate must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates. This is an entry level position and will be compensated accordingly.

Minimum Qualifications:

Candidate must have a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or closely related field.

6+ months of experience in the following:

  • Writing and debugging software

  • Measuring electrical performance of analog signals

  • Platform debug


Preferred Qualifications:

6+ months of experience in the following:

  • Using bench measurement equipment

  • High speed serial interface analog building blocks, protocol, specifications and test methods

  • Writing Python object oriented code to automate test procedures

  • Good software architecture principles and development practices

  • PCB layout best practices

Annual Salary Range for jobs which could be performed in US, Colorado:
$76,380.00-$114,340.00

Work Model for this Role

This role is available as fully home-based and generally would require you to attend Intel sites only occasionally based on business need.
