What you will do

Let’s do this. Let’s change the world. In this dynamic role you will provide technical leadership and be responsible for conducting platform-based experiments for characterizing multi-specifics. Responsibilities include:

• Serve as subject matter expert in drug product formulation and process development and represent several therapeutic portfolio programs as functional expert and as a team lead
• Extensive knowledge and hands-on experience in bi-specific formats, fit-for-purpose screening assays to select optimal modules
• Participate in the planning, design, execution, and documentation of laboratory studies related to formulation and stability characterization using a repertoire of analytical characterization in support of product commercialization
• Build and implement innovative yet physiologically relevant experiments that focus on evaluating the critical intrinsic properties of lead molecules to determine the impact on function, PK and drug product manufacturing and delivery
• Conduct stability studies, including development and preparation of formulations. This will involve knowledge of ultrafiltration-diafiltration and other buffer exchange processes
• Responsible for development and exploration of new technologies for different modalities such as fusion proteins, multi-specifics, siRNA and mAb fragments
• Responsible for planning, design, execution of stability studies, process development and design, in use compatibility studies, FIH formulation studies and authoring CTA filings
• Develop protein drug formulations and processes and generate a deep molecular and scaffold understanding using chromatographic, spectroscopic and electrophoretic assays
• Strong motivation and commitment to staff’s long-term career development and growth
• Continuous adherence to compliance and legal requirements while meeting organization’s goals and priorities
• Passionate for building and implementing innovative ideas, platforms and first intent proposals

Basic Qualifications:

• Doctorate degree and 2 years of scientific experience OR Master’s degree and 5 years of scientific experience OR Bachelor’s degree and 7 years scientific experience

Preferred Qualifications:

• Doctorate in Biochemistry, Biophysics, Analytical Chemistry or other relevant sciences with 2-4 years of proven experience
• Consistent record problem solving and trouble shooting in bio-therapeutics discovery/development environment; Ability to independently identify, develop and implement scientific solutions to practical problems
• Strong expertise in biologics characterization
• Track record of innovation; Proven eminence in the scientific community through a sustained record of peer reviewed publications and patents
• Motivated self-starter with excellent interpersonal and organizational skills; Excellent verbal communication and scientific writing skills
• Leadership experience of progressively increased scope and ability to encourage and lead a group of scientists to deliver on complex and complicated objectives in defined timelines would be strong plus
• Demonstrated success working with team with varied strengths in a dynamic, cross-functional environments and ability to learn and act at a rapid pace
• Project leadership, strong problem solving and effective cross-functional communication skills.
