Job Title
Under the guidance and supervision of the Restaurant Manager, and within the limits of the established OSM (Operational Standards Manual), his/her responsibilities are to provide efficient, personalized, courteous and punctual services and to practice up-selling techniques. To work with a team spirit and to ensure that each guest leaves the Outlet fully satisfied and with the wish to return back.
What you will be doing:
- Is responsible to organize his bar in terms of place, cleanliness, sanitation, hygiene, safety and grooming.
- Is responsible of the condition of the Bar equipment all the time.
- Is responsible for all behind the Bar happenings.
- Coordinates with the Supervisor and Restaurant Manager to plan and conduct skills training constantly to make sure that the Bar rules, regulations are followed at all times.
- Attends the communication meetings of her/his Outlet.
- Personally supervises the end of day
- Closing of the service area and makes sure that all equipment are in appropriate place and nothing is left around, which can be hazardous.
- At the end of the shift or the day, she/he has to communicate all information that the next shift or the supervisor has to know for a well running of the operations
- Provides with the minimum bar stock and never exceeds the maximum stock.
- Daily inventories and internal transfers are being prepared as per standards and submit for approval.
- Proper grooming at all times
- To attend training classes as per schedule
- Shows fullest cooperation and respect within the team and other departments
- Must have strong F&B and menu knowledge in order to describe the dishes and advice our guests accordingly through actively studying the menus and taking part in trainings and monthly quizzes
- To have a strong understanding of all allergens and dietary requirements and follow the SOP for guest allergies strictly
- Have full knowledge of the bar operation, including but not exclusive to Cocktails, Wines Spirits and Non-alcoholic Beverages ensuring a high-quality standard of production following the recipes
- Support fellow colleagues within the Outlet where and when required in order to ensure a seamless experience for our guests and colleagues alike be it in the Restaurant or Hostess desk while ensuring that your duties are completed to the highest level and standard
- Must follow all processes and SOP’s strictly and efficiently as instructed by the Outlet Leaders Address all guests by name to create a personalized service and adhere to the Raffles Service Culture and Outlet standards
- Recognize and acknowledge all our regular and VIP guests and their preferences
- Update Outlet Leaders on guest’s preferences obtained during the first in order for them to be updated (in Opera for In House guests) and share the information with team members
- Conduct regular quality checks to ensure guests satisfaction levels, thereafter handling feedback in a correct and professional manner and reporting any issues directly to the Outlet Leaders
- Follow the process of escalation by immediately reporting any complaints, incidents, guest issues or any other challenges to the Outlet Leaders

Your experience and skills include:
We are looking for a well-organized and creative candidate with excellent communication and interpersonal skills, who is able to display a “passion for perfection” and work in a dynamic environment. In addition, the candidate should possess:
- Diploma or its equivalent
- 1 year of relevant experience
- Team player
- Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of team members
- Has lots of initiative, assertiveness and is innovative
