As a Technical Writer you will:
Design, write, revise, and edit technical and promotional papers (i.e., application papers, product descriptions, catalogs, manuals/guides, commercial applications, brochures, product articles, etc.).
Analyze and interpret data to determine appropriate syntax, style, and grammatical usage.
Collaborate with internal partners on preparation of illustrative material, selecting drawings, sketches, diagrams, charts, supporting slide/video production, serving as editor on specific publications including article selection, artwork coordination, productions and distribution.
Meets with partners to assess requirements.
Assist in preparation and layout of work for publication.
Act as internal experts, consultants, and program/project managers and represent the corporation to external groups, agencies, and vendors
Qualifications
Relevant experience can be obtained through schoolwork, classes, project work, internships, and/or military experience. Additional preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates.

Education
Bachelor of Science degree in an Engineering-related field
Minimum Qualifications
2+ years of relevant experience, experience should include one or more of the following:
Experience in Engineering
Experience in Writing or Technical Writing
Experience with professional authoring tools (i.e. OxygenXML Author, Adobe Illustrator, Acrobat, etc.)
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with DITA Authoring
Experience researching technical topics
