- Creates, defines and develops system validation environment and test suites
- Uses and applies emulation and platform level tools and techniques to ensure performance to spec
- Responsible for the development of methodologies, execution of validation plans, and debug of failures
- Requires broad understanding of multiple system areas and requires interfaces with Architecture, Design, and Pre-silicon Validation teams in improving post-silicon test content and providing feedback for future on-die debug features
Qualifications
You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates. Experience listed below would be obtained through a combination of your schoolwork/classes/research and/or relevant previous job and/or internship experiences. This is an entry level position and will be compensated accordingly.
Minimum Qualifications:
You must possess a Master's degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science or Electrical/Electronic Engineering with 6+ months of experience in the following
- Computer architecture
- Computer organization
- Logic Design
- Programming
Preferred Qualifications:
- Debug skills
- Pre-silicon simulation, emulation to debug and root caused functional issues
- CPU architecture and validation challenges
- Programming experience in Python and Perl
- x86 assembly experience

Work Model for this Role
This role is available as fully home-based and generally would require you to attend Intel sites only occasionally based on business need.
