Intel is seeking highly qualified candidates to join the XFG (Switch and Fabric Group) in our Network and Edge Group (NEX) as a Systems Administrator. We're part of the Connectivity Group (CG) in Intel's NEX, and are looking for motivated, passionate, and talented software engineers to join our Networking Applications development team for programmable high-speed switching ASICs. We're a strong, vibrant, cross-site team that helps drive Intel's programmable switching technology and products to position Tofino as the switching platform of choice for Cloud and Data Center network deployments.
In this role, you will be configuring and maintaining all aspects of infrastructure operations which includes, but not limited to High Performance Computing, Servers, Storage, Virtualization. You must love working in fast paced environment and be excited about learning new technologies and willing to help in all areas when called upon. You will be building fast, stable, and secure infrastructure with an eye towards speeding up engineering velocity. In this role you will be partnering with engineering and working cross functionally as required with other business units within the company.
Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
- Configure documents, implement, and maintain all infrastructure which is a mix of physical, Virtual Environments and Unix/Linux OS.
- Configure and maintain DNS, DHCP and Authentication services.
- Help with engineering support and issues with the grid computing environment and work with necessary teams to help resolve in a timely manner.
- Participate in Infrastructure related upgrades, security patching, changes & enhancements.
- Create and maintain documentation as required.
Qualifications
You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates.
Education Requirement:
- High School Diploma and/ or 4+ years of industry work experience.
Minimum Required Qualifications:
- 4 years of working experience with Unix/Linux/Windows systems.
Preferred Qualifications
- 4 years of working experience with DHCP, DNS & NIS/Ldap.
- 2 years of experience in scripting, Automation & Configuration tools such as SaltStack (preferred), Chef, Puppet, Ansible.

Annual Salary Range for jobs which could be performed in US, Colorado:
$66,370.00-$99,470.00
