A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a IT Manager  to be part of the first Fairmont hotel opening in Russia.  

The Manager of IT ensures a smooth operation of the entire IT infrastructure including all computer systems, software and communication devices. The role co-ordinates the network, hardware and  software installation on site and manages the IT Budget and IT contracts in coordination with the Local Accor IT team

The Director of IT is responsible for:

• Purchasing IT equipment in coordination with Local Accor IT and following Accor Standards.
• Liaising with software and hardware vendors on a regular basis to remain current with technology changes and to suggest improvements or enhancements to hotel management in coordination with Local Accor IT.

 

As Director of IT, you develop, implement and maintain an IT strategy which satisfies the technical requirements and the future development of IT systems, based on the needs of the resort and Accor standards. You are responsible for contract and suppliers management and IT budgeting, and CAPEX planning aligned with Accor LOI. You identify potential risks and put solutions and recommendations in place including backup and emergency procedures. You understand and keep up to date with industry trends, market forces and changes in technology.

 

You enforce restricted access to the computer room and PCI-DSS security standards. You ensure that hotel end users’ back-up are performed and the resulting back-up media is securely and safely kept.

You maintain and perform regular inventory of hardware and software ensuring compliance with copyright and Accor policies. You conduct IT Quality complains analysis.

 

You provide:

• A high level of operational stability for property-based Guest Technology Assistance
• Daily onsite technical support to conference rooms clients and provide technical expertise, support on hotel laptops and computers, and project management for all technology projects in coordination with Local Accor IT teams and suppliers.
• Follow ups on all incident management items reported by the hotel to Local Accor IT Teams and External suppliers.
• Assistance for user problems and ensure that they are addressed consistently with current Service Level Agreement.
• Implement and maintain end-user computers backup.

 

You work closely with all relevant departments and vendors to identify IT requirements and solutions and support IT training requirements through the hotel. You support guests, colleagues and stakeholders alike with any IT relevant concerns.

 

You ensure the Hotel’s IT systems management through contracts or directly for the following IT system including:

• • • Purchasing system,
    • Finance systems,
    • CCTV (Close circuit TV),
    • TV (rooms),
    • PBX Telephone,
    • Wifi,
    • CTT (Clock Time Tracking),
    • IT Sound network system
    • Meeting room systems
    • Communication Lines
    • Basic support on hotel end user computers (printing and MS Office issues)
    • Other Guest Services

 

You ensure the network and equipment room is regularly maintained at an ambient temperature.

 

You will be driven to deliver excellence in our guest experience. The role reports to the Director of Finance.

 

Qualifications:

 

• Experience in a comparable role in high end hospitality
• Degree in IT, Computer Science or another related sector
