What you will be doing:

Reporting to the Director of Front Office, responsibilities and essential job functions include but are not limited to the following:           

  • Consistently offers professional, engaging and friendly service
  • Lead and manage all aspects of the overnight team from Front Office to Housekeeping and Food & Beverage
  • Manage and coordinate all Group and Individual arrivals
  • Maintain close liaison with Sales, Conference and Finance teams
  • Product daily, weekly, monthly and quarterly reports as required
  • Balance operational, administrative and Ambassador needs
  • Assist the Director of Front Office in all aspects of the department and ensure service standards are followed
  • Ensure seamless operation of the Hotel as the Manager on Duty
  • Provides managerial support for Guest Services, Housekeeping and Security in the overnight operational duties for these areas
  • Consistently offer professional, friendly and engaging service
  • Ensure proper staffing and scheduling of the Overnight Front Office Ambassadors in line with productivity guidelines
  • Communicate through pre-shift logs, emails and departmental meetings all pertinent information for the respective shift and areas of operation
  • Train Overnight Ambassadors to ensure accurate overnight reporting and to effectively prepare the subsequent shift for the day’s operations ahead
  • Assist guests regarding hotel facilities in an informative and helpful way
  • Complete night audit process, inclusive of transmitting daily credit card transactions, balancing daily revenues and generating daily operational reports
  • Follow departmental policies, procedures and service standards
  • Flexible work schedule which may require day shift coverage
  • Complete all project work in a timely manner
  • Follow all safety policies
  • Other duties as assigned
     

Your experience and skills include:

  • Previous leadership experience in a similar role required
  • A minimum of one year’s Front Office management experience required
  • Previous experience with a Property Management system required
  • Computer literate in Microsoft Window applications required
  • University/College degree in a related discipline preferred
  • Strong interpersonal and problem solving abilities
  • Highly responsible and reliable
  • Ability to work well under pressure in a fast paced environment
  • Ability to work cohesively as part of a team
  • Ability to focus attention on guest needs, remaining calm and courteous at all times

Visa Requirements: Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
