Position Summary:

The 4D Consultant is a member of the EMEA consulting team and plays an important role in advising clients and working with them on 4D construction modelling and execution.

Next to this, the 4D Consultant also plays an important role in identifying integration opportunities with clients they work with and translating these into use cases for implementation by Digital Construction Works System Integrations Lab.

 

Your Day-To-Day:

On a day-to-day basis, the 4D consultant will work on a variety of topics, which include advising clients on 4D implementations for their projects, training and assisting clients on getting the maximum out of 4D construction technology for their project.

The 4D consultant will also work on preparing proposals for these activities together with the Business Development team.

When working on projects or proposals, the 4D consultant will spot workflow integration opportunities and model these for implementation by DCW’s systems integration lab.

 

What You Bring to The Team:

• A bachelor’s degree in Construction Engineering and / or a related field along with associated computer knowledge is the minimum educational requirement
• Up to 25-50% travel can be expected
• Minimum of 5 years’ 4D Construction Solutions Subject Matter Expertise 
• Experience with planning and scheduling for construction projects using software including Synchro, Microsoft Project, Asta Powerproject, and Primavera P6
• Experience with Business Process Modelling
• Experience with formulating user stories as used in Agile software development
• Ability to project manage and plan short and long-term activities and deliver on-time with accuracy
• Ability to work with virtually connected teams in a global community
• A never-ending desire to try new and interesting strategies and tactics to improve processes and results
