Job Description
Job Requirements:
1. At least 10 years purchasing experience in toy industry
2. Fluent in Oral English, able to communicate with headquarters in France and branches in USA/UK/Germany/Spain; Chinese speaking would help in negotiations with local factories
3. Familiar with new supplier development and management process, price negotiation ability, adaptability, strong communication skills, quick thinking, pressure tolerance and sense of responsibility
4. Availability to travel frequently mostly in Guangdong and Zhejiang provinces
Job Description:
1. Review with company head office on new projects and long term goals
2. Review with company head office to gather strategic targets and needs
3. Meeting with suppliers to share targets and needs and negotiate suitable terms for ordering, production and payment
4. Independently screening and sourcing new cooperative suppliers and possible new product lines
5. Factory relationship management (frequent visits to ensure flow of information in both directions and maintain cooperation on highest trust levels)
6. Support development team with price negotiations and review quotes
7. Support production team for abnormal issues through discussions with suppliers
8. Made weekly purchasing and development plans, communicate and reporte with the head office and each division
