Pullman & Mercure Brisbane King George Square is located in the CBD and is Brisbane’s largest contemporary style hotel, featuring 438 guestrooms, extensive conferencing facilities for up to 1000 people, and several dining outlets including Goldfinch Restaurant and Award Winning Rooftop Bar, Sixteen Antlers.

The Housekeeping Supervisor is responsible for assisting the Housekeeping Manager in effectively managing all areas of the Housekeeping department. This is a part time role that will require early morning starts and weekend work.

Duties

• Check cleaned rooms to ensure they meet hotel standard
• Train and motivate team members on a daily basis
• Ensure room cleaning productivity is monitored and maintained
• Room allocations for all staff on a daily basis
• Assist with lost property requests from guests
• Handle & resolve guest complaints
• Liaise with other hotel departments to ensure all guest requests are met

Skills & Experience

• Opera PMS experience highly desirable
• Customer service experience
• Strong verbal & written communication skills
• Proven ability to learn & adapt quickly
• Proven ability to work unsupervised
• Efficient time management skills and able to juggle multiple tasks
