You will be a part of a new Conversational AI Product Team which delivers solutions for customers globally as part of the Customer 360 initiative. In this role, you will be a developer responsible for architecting and developing Google Dialogflow CX Conversational AI solutions across medical information and commercial initiatives. This engineer role has an opportunity to lead a small team of junior developers and work along vendor partners to scale this technology.

• Develop/Configure/Test new virtual assistants (Chatbots) within Dialogflow CX or enhance existing virtual assistance conversations by updating intents, responses, and training phrases to make a chatbot continuously more effective.
• Develop and maintain quantitative key performance indicators to evaluate the effectiveness of the chatbot
• Create and maintain documentation on conversation flows, architecture design, API integration, development and deployment, etc
• Develop DevOps pipeline to automate build, test, and deployment
• Work with other product team members using Agile methodology
• Administration of all aspects of the chatbot development and deployment environments
• Lead/mentor junior developer, co-develop with vendor development team
• Communicate technical design, implementation issues, risks clearly and precisely
• Ability to estimate scope of work, develop a plan of execution and deliver on time

What we expect of you

The professional we seek is a self-starter with these qualifications:

Basic Qualifications

Doctorate degree

Or

Master’s degree and 3 years of Information Systems experience

Or

Bachelor’s degree and 5 years of Information Systems experience

Or

Associate’s degree and 10 years of Information Systems experience

Or

High school diploma / GED and 12 years of Information Systems experience

Preferred Qualifications

• Solid technical background, with degree in Computer Science or Engineering related field
• Proficient in Python, plus hands on experience with Java, Java Script, HTML, SQL
• Experienced with API integration, serverless architecture
• Hands-on experience on Chatbot technology like Google Dialogflow, AWS Alexa development kit
• Hands-on experience with Google Cloud Function or AWS Lambda function, AWS API Gateway
• Experienced working with on-shore and off-shore vendor in a co-development setting
• Experienced with Agile development methodology
• Experienced with Google Cloud (GCP) and Amazon Cloud (AWS)
• Experienced with global commercial marketing in pharmaceutical industry is a plus
• GxP experience is a plus
