We are seeking highly motivated Part Time Cook to join our dynamic and professional team within the Qantas Lounges by Accor at the Brisbane Airports. Reporting to the Executive Chef, you will be responsible for the efficient and effective operation in the Kitchen department.

 

Key duties of this role include, but are not limited to the following:

• Work with and coordinate the preparation and production of food as required
• Ensure strict stock rotation and minimum wastage, whereby you will be responsible for implementing and maintaining stock control procedures
• Keep all working areas clean and tidy. Ensure all equipment is maintained, serviced and cleaned
• Promote a safe workplace by recognising hazards and promoting general WHS practices

 

Whilst technical experience is of important to us, to be considered for the role you will have:

• A genuine passion for Food and Beverage
• Previous experience in a similar role or environment and relevant trade qualifications
• The ability to cope well under pressure and to meet tight deadlines
• The ability to work autonomously as well as within a team
• The ability to obtain Federal Police clearance to work in the restricted areas associated with the airport
• Flexibility to work various rostered shifts, including early mornings, evenings and on weekends. The Lounges operate on a 7 day per week basis.
