The IT Hosting team is seeking high-performing, energetic people who are passionate about DevOps public, private, and hybrid cloud technologies. Our team collaborates with application teams across the enterprise to land, optimize, and modernize applications and workloads across a variety of Cloud services, both on and off prem. The variety of activity is quite diverse, and every day brings new challenges with enormous opportunity to work within multiple systems, researching and identifying the common issues while driving the teams towards resolution to have a positive impact on customer experience. In this enterprise cloud architecture role, you will be responsible for:
- Influencing and driving adoption for modern (private/public/hybrid) cloud infrastructure.
- Building and sustaining senior-level relationships with global Cloud Service Providers (CSPs).
- Working with stakeholders in Information Security, third party CSP's, and Intel Engineering/Applications groups to develop and implement consumable cloud solutions such as security compliance tools, public/private network, and enterprise services connectivity, and Cloud Management Portals.
- Driving large scale efforts across Hosting, Infrastructure, and IT
- Understanding application workloads to ensure workloads are landed in the right place
As an IT Hosting Cloud Architect your responsibilities will include, but not be limited to:
- Promote informed vendor, product and technology decisions; ensures that solutions meet operational requirements; and to ensure that solutions are aligned with enterprise IT standards and strategy.
- Ability to automate the entire DevOps pipeline (CI/CD, continuous testing, app performance monitoring, infrastructure settings and configurations), identify where automation can be implemented, and instill a DevOps mentality throughout the organization.
- Possess proven hands-on knowledge of Cloud computing (private, public, and hybrid), infrastructure platforms, containerization technologies/Kubernetes, database design, and security.
- Have a growth mindset to stay current and on top of industry trends and translate those into requirements needed for Hosting, Infrastructure, and our partners.
- Use and champion Agile and Scrum methodologies to manage priorities. Demonstrate strong verbal and written communication to build effective partnerships, presentation, and collaboration skills.
- Proven ability to troubleshoot and identify root cause of issues.
- Experience in a 24/7 production environment is a plus.

Qualifications
You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering or related IT field with 10+ years of experience
- - At least 5 years of experience in a technical role within a medium to large organization with a strong track record in Cloud (Public, Private, Hybrid) and DevOps.
- Continued learning certifications, such as (but not limited to): VMWare Cloud Management and Automation, AWS Certification (Solutions Architect - Professional or Associate, Advance Networking, Security), Microsoft Azure Solutions Architect, Google Cloud Certified Architect, Certified Kubernetes (Application Developer, Administration, Security), Docker Certified Professional, or similar.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience leading or developing high quality, enterprise scale efforts using a structured system development lifecycle.
- Enterprise IT experience, including at least two years of hands-on software development, operations, DevOps engineering, or systems architecture, with experience across the following areas:
- Cloud Solutions such as Azure/Azure Stack, Amazon Web Services/Outposts, VMware Cloud Foundation/Tanzu, Salesforce, Oracle Cloudo Container Orchestration tools like Kubernetes, Docker Swarm, Amazon ECS, Apache Mesos, Azure Container Service, and Google Container Engine.
- Linux experience: Red Hat, SUSE, Ubuntu, OpenStack middleware open source implementations, or similar DevOps Tools such as (but not limited to): Node, NodeJS, Powershell, Python, Puppet, GIT, Ansible, AWS Cloud formation Stack/Stacksets, etc.
- Basic Software Security skills to integrate with DevOps
Intel's Information Technology Group (IT) designs, deploys and supports the information technology architecture and hardware/software applications for Intel. This includes the LAN, WAN, telephony, data centers, client PCs, backup and restore, and enterprise applications. IT is also responsible for e-Commerce development, data hosting and delivery of Web content and services.
Work Model for this Role
This role will be eligible for our hybrid work model which allows employees to split their time between working on-site at their assigned Intel site and off-site.
