The mission of Intel’s Programmable Solutions Group (PSG) is to drive the future for FPGAs and Structured ASICs technology/solutions around the globe.
In the PVE VEP infra team, you'll be surrounded by some of the brightest minds/engineers in the world as we are responsible for delivering the world class FPGA products.
As an Engineer technician, you will be responsible to enable the customers with test system and lab infrastructure with quality and on-time deliverables.
Your daily agenda will be anything but ordinary. In this role you will:
Build the electronic devices test systems, DUT’s, SUT’s and mechanical fixtures necessary for testing products
Test prototype samples and provide reports
Analyze test data to identify product defects, and report findings
Manage one or more lab spaces, including procurement of lab supplies and tools
Work closely with Engineers and build system as per the config requirement
Enable remote systems
Deploy SW packages and install
Debug 1 level of issues
The ideal candidate should exhibit the following behavioral traits:

Strong organization skills - for tools and equipment, as well as for collected data, reports, etc.
Qualifications
You must possess the below minimum education requirements and minimum required qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Relevant experience can be obtained through schoolwork, classes, project work, internships, and/or military experience. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates.
Education Requirement:
Under Graduate: AS, AAS, Electronic or Electrical Diploma
Minimum Qualifications:
5 plus years of experience with Platform building, testing and debugging issues and thermal system build
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience reading and understanding schematic designs.
Soldering Skills
Lab Management
Experience with RF equipment, PCIE analyzer, signal generators, base station emulators.
Proficiency with PowerPoint and Excel
Good mechanical intuition and/or hands-on experience with small/delicate electromechanical devices.
Electrical or printed circuit board layout
