Job Description

The work of an IT Systems Analyst focuses on designing information systems that are appropriate for users' needs and consistent with the overall design of the organization's information systems architecture including:

  • Collecting and analyzing information from system users to formulate the scope and objectives of the system.
  • Preparing flow charts, models, and procedures and conducting feasibility studies to design possible system solutions.
  • Estimating the costs of system solutions and preparing project plans to provide input into decisions about prioritizing projects and allocating IT resources.
  • Preparing and maintaining technical documentation to guide system users and to assist with the ongoing operation, maintenance, and development of the system.
  • Leverages agile methodology to design and configure solutions.
  • Works closely with business to develop required training, change management and operations process.
  • Develop use cases, customer scenarios, and/or demos, and plan and coordinate testing of the newly developed or enhanced applications and provide support.
  • Looks for opportunities to automate business process with technology, and may provide consultation to users in the area of automated systems.


Qualifications

You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Experience listed below would be obtained through a combination of your school work/classes/research and/or relevant previous job and/or internship experiences.


Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, Systems Engineering, Process Control Automation, Control Engineering or any other related field

Minimum 6+ months of experience with:

  • Implementing software solutions (patching, installing, upgrading etc.)
  • Industrial Controls SCADA Supervisory Controls and Data Acquisition systems


Preferred Qualifications:

Experience with:

  • Building sustainable solutions.
  • Waterfall and Agile software development methods and tools.
  • User Story and User Acceptance Test development.
  • User experience skills including research surveying and Transition Change Management.
  • Technical Procedure Documentation.
  • Define program and product roadmaps driving integrated product upgrade roadmap for software firmware hardware OS.
  • Supplier management managing licenses renewals driving defect fixes and enhancements.
  • Best practices and design trends for responsive design knowledge.
  • Disaster Recovery Business Continuity planning.
  • Hardware and software asset management, support and sustaining of all systems to reduce the cyber risk to Industrial Control systems.

Inside this Business Group

Intel's Information Technology Group (IT) designs, deploys and supports the information technology architecture and hardware/software applications for Intel. This includes the LAN, WAN, telephony, data centers, client PCs, backup and restore, and enterprise applications. IT is also responsible for e-Commerce development, data hosting and delivery of Web content and services.

Annual Salary Range for jobs which could be performed in US, Colorado:
$55,680.00-$83,380.00

Work Model for this Role

This role is available as fully home-based and generally would require you to attend Intel sites only occasionally based on business need.
