The main task as Automation Engineer is to support client based Station Controller Host system integration and implementation, drives continuous improvement efforts to meet emerging business needs; serves as site expert for a designated set of automation systems, including representing integrated needs in cross functional and cross site teams. This include providing flexibility with work hours and the ability to provide remote support when needed.

You will have the opportunity to learn up and be familiar with overall manufacturing business process, be full developed with the industry equipment, automation skills and emerging data skills, you will also have the opportunity to work closely with a whole spectrum of cross domain peers across IT/factory and other functional groups around the globe.

Qualifications

Bachelor/Master degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or related fields.

Professional customer service and support skills, teamwork spirit and group collaboration.

Quick learning skills, strong analytical and problem solving skills.

Knowledge on manufacturing environment is preferable.

Programming skills, experience on Data Analytics is preferable.

Fluent in Oral and Written English.

Intel's Information Technology Group (IT) designs, deploys and supports the information technology architecture and hardware/software applications for Intel. This includes the LAN, WAN, telephony, data centers, client PCs, backup and restore, and enterprise applications. IT is also responsible for e-Commerce development, data hosting and delivery of Web content and services.

Work Model for this Role

This role will be eligible for our hybrid work model which allows employees to split their time between working on-site at their assigned Intel site and off-site.
