WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING:
Develop unique and cuisine-appropriate menus
Collaborate with the F&B Manager to set item prices
Stay current on developing trends in the restaurant industry
Maintain the kitchen and surrounding areas in conditions that meet the company standards and health code regulations
Monitor inventory, purchasing supplies and food from approved vendors
Monitor F&B Guest Experience indicators, food cost and labor cost.
Hire, train and supervise kitchen staff
Assist and direct kitchen staff in meal preparation, creation, plating and delivery
Work Experience
YOUR EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS INCLUDE:
Expert knowledge of the restaurant and cuisine organization.
Advanced culinary skills including food preparation, flavor pairings and other cooking best practices
Ability to develop unique recipes. Creativity.
Current knowledge of trends in the restaurant industry
Experience in an internationally branded premium or luxury hotel a distinct advantage.
In-depth knowledge of HACCP and local food handling regulations
Comfortable training, directing and supervising kitchen staff
Exceptional leadership skills, including motivation and goal-setting
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Time management and organizational skills
