• Work within a new product development project team and be responsible for mechanical design, e.g.

1. technical requirements management;
2. technical solution investigation and verification;
3. make engineering drawings, D-FMEA and other engineering or project documents;
4. DFM discussion with supplier, etc.

• Maintain existing mechanical design, e.g. coordinate an ECN or a Problem Solving team to improve or correct a mechanical design.
• Take technical interface of mechanical parts between BUs and local plants and suppliers.
• Operate tests machines to do mechanical tests and prepare test reports.
• Create and maintain the Work Instruction, Workflow and Guideline for mechanical engineering work.
• Take other tasks assigned by supervisor.

• Bachelor or Master degree in Mechanical Engineering or related major;
• At least 5-years work experience of mechanical design；
• Skillful to use Creo/UG to do plastic and sheet metal part design；
• Well know mechanical design principles;
• Be good at design calculation, e.g. tolerance analysis;
• Well know resin and metal material properties, and good at material selection;
• Skillful to use FMEA tool;
• Has good communication and coordination skill, can organize an ECN or Problem Solving team to improve or correct an existing design;
• Can email or phone communicates with foreign colleague in English.
