As an integral part of Intel's new IDM2.0 strategy, we are establishing Intel Foundry Services (IFS), a fully vertical, standalone foundry business, reporting directly to the CEO. IFS will be a world-class foundry business and major provider of US and European-based capacity to serve customers globally. This business unit is completely dedicated to the success of its customers with full P and L responsibilities. Intel Foundry Services is looking for a highly collaborative and experienced Business Development leader, responsible for initiating and closing customer opportunities. In this capacity, the primary focus will be to help initiate and execute business development opportunities with a service mindset while aligning on target markets and customers.
This role requires knowledge of fabless semiconductor customers, business development on a global scale, and comprehensive understanding of design and manufacturing solutions for developing a winning strategic customer base. You will also be part of strategic value-add joint projects to help drive commercial negotiations with customers to the finish line to ensure win-win outcomes.
Responsibilities:
Execute Intel Foundry Services' customer acquisition roadmap for key strategic accounts.
Develop and execute business strategy and drive new revenue sources for the organization.
Build pricing and cost model with performance, shrink factor, yield, and capacity knowledge to aid negotiation of strategic and complex design and manufacturing deals.
Collaborate with members of the IFS team and supporting organizations to ensure excellent customer experience across all customer interactions and requirements, from needs assessment to final delivery.
Help coach and grow IFS Business Development teams' resources.
Review customer activity, anticipate customer needs, and improve customer satisfaction.
Experience:
15+ years' experience in direct or indirect foundry sales.
15+ years success in driving advance technology adoption.
Proven track records in anticipating customer organization issues impacting business opportunities. Proven leadership capabilities in a multi-cultural and cross-functional team environment.
Qualifications
Degree in Engineering with technical background across the semiconductor domain.
