Your new role – challenging and future-oriented As Application Engineer in our Innovation team you will be responsible to develop, evaluate and implement new technologies that can help our customers to get into the new world of Industry 4.0. such as AI, AR, Data Driven Manufacturing and more… You will Interfaces with customer engineers and managers to develop or enhance complex computer-aided engineering design or manufacturing processes, uses complex design and tooling tasks involving multiple design environments. Cogently communicates software problems to product development. Assists other engineers in the design, development, and implementation of large scale, complex graphical application programs on multiple software products and hardware platforms. Provides business and technical feedback to software and hardware vendors. Uses advanced data exchange methodologies to facilitate effective data sharing between dissimilar systems or applications that span across engineering disciplines. The Application Engineer is encouraged to work closely with current and potential customers to understand their engineering workflow and processes and propose solution methodologies to help them meet their objectives. General day to day activities include: What are we looking for: Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering, industrial engineering or a related degree. Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English Excellent problem solving & organisational skills You will have excellent verbal, presentation, and communication skills; you will thrive in a dynamic environment with the ability to multiplex many tasks, establish and meet priorities, while maintaining a helpful/caring attitude towards fellow workers, and customers.
