What will you do

• Maintain the building, plant, equipment, fixtures and fittings of the hotel
• Liaise with other departments prioritising maintenance requests in order to ensure the smooth operation of the hotel
• Plan and implement a preventative maintenance schedule
• Engage and liaise with contractors as needed
• Responsible for energy management and conservation
• Actively take part in the Emergency Response and WHS committee
• Lead a team to ensure that the hotel is maintained in accordance with safety and brand standards

 

What you need to be successful

• Proven experience in a similar role and hotel environment is essential
• Strong knowledge of the relevant legislation and safety requirements
• Excellent interpersonal skills with guests and colleagues
• Exceptional people management skills
• Strong time management and ability to prioritise
